#TheBigMove I started yesterday with another drive to Peorias north side to drop off the rest of our electronic waste. That went well but I arrived home to find a major flood in progress.
We got a lot of rain yesterday! The water was rising out of Dillon Creek across from our house and was already well up the road when I returned home. In less than an hour it had progressed clear up to the edge of our driveway and up the road past our house. I was really afraid it was going to flood our basement but it eventually stopped and went back down after a couple hours. That is the worst flooding we have had in the almost 30 years we have lived here.

#TheBigMove We bought our trailer yesterday. I am glad that is finally finished. I still have to go the county treasurers office today to register the trailer as ours for property tax and then back to the title service to finish getting a new title issued in our name. This is a bit of a hassle but our taxes will go down from $4,200 a year to $89 a year.
We spent some time last evening at the trailer with tape measure and note pad sorting through where we should put our stuff and figuring out what rooms will have what stuff in them.
