I went to the #TremontHouse yesterday morning to meet another home remodel estimator. He urged me several times to consider putting new carpet throughout the house and to re-paint every room. I understand it would help to sell the house but I don’t think we want to spend that much money.

I am disappointed I haven’t gotten the estimate from the guy who came a week ago Monday. I felt really good about him but maybe he is just too busy to get to us.

I fried bacon for BLT sandwiches last evening for supper. I thought that would be a good test of our new stove top exhaust fan. It did a great job of clearing the smoke and heat. Very satisfied.

(And the BLTs were very good too!)

I went to see the nurse practitioner at the medical clinic this morning. The usual routine. But one thing took me aback a little bit. She introduced herself as “Doctor”. I didn’t say anything but I thought it a bit presumptuous and even after reading the link below ——

I still think so.
