Started yesterday with a call to a carpet outlet to schedule an appointment to measure up the #TremontHouse. We have two bedrooms that we MUST replace the carpet in and I told them to measure up the entire upstairs. Then we can determine by cost what else we might replace. It would be best to replace it all but I’m not sure how much we want to spend to do that.

The lady I talked to said they had some pretty basic carpet and padding that would be affordable. We shall see.


Still no word from the home remodel places we were supposed to get estimates from —— perhaps our repairs are too small potatoes for them to bother with us.

I spent some time on the mower yesterday. The grass isn’t growing as crazy as it was a month ago but I still want to knock it down every week or so. I plan to return to day to finish up.

Agolf Twitler’s constant deluge of bullshit on Twitter has changed the way a lot of people view social media. Prior to him vomiting nonsense all over social media people would take most of it with a grain of salt. Now we pretend this is actual news worthy of discussing for days on end.

Here is a prime example —— #ELoonMuskolini muses on Twitter about going private with one of his companies and Wall St. and the SEC react as if it is a policy statement or press release.
