We have now sunk to a depth at
which the restatement of the obvious
is the first duty of intelligent men.

I started yesterday morning with a grocery run and then to the #TremontHouse to mow grass. I was mowing the SE corner when Jerry Brown walked up to chat for a while. He and Dave Risinger are working on the drainage at Ike’s house just south of our property. What a coincidence that both my past local union president and vice president are still working together?

After mowing for a while I quit and went home. I watched the news while eating lunch and learned it is supposed to rain today (which it is doing right now) and decided to go back and finish the mowing. It mows so much better and faster when it is dry.

Tracey recently got a message from Aaron explaining that he has found a job in Boise. That is good news as he was living off his savings until now. I am proud of his spirit of adventure to move off to Idaho with not much more than the shirt on his back. He follows in the shoes of his brother Noah who did much the same thing when he went to Phoenix.

Ben did much the same thing when he went off to Olympia, WA —— but he at least had a job lined up before he left.

We got a call from Noah last evening. He just returned from Disney Land in California. He, his girlfriend Stephanie, and her daughter went for a few days. Although it is smaller than Disney World in Florida, Noah says it seems to be a bit more up to date.
