Eye drops. I have to be one of the world’s worst at accurately applying eye drops. You wouldn’t think it would be possible to miss your eye as often as I do. I can’t seem to stop flinching at that last moment. I could never wear contacts because I get a little freaked out about stuff in my eyes.
I started the daily eye drop routine because my eyes get dry and irritated. The eye drop suggestion was from Tracey and I resisted for quite a while. As usual she is right and I was wrong.
It makes a big difference if I remember to do it. Unfortunately I don’t usually remember until they get itchy —— and then it takes me at least two tries to actually get the drops into my eyes.

#Fresenius Tracey asked me to do voice narration of her latest PowerPoint presentation. The presentation needs to be set up almost like a video to be run automatically so it can be viewed as a part of the virtual learning program. One click and it goes through the slides and animations with narration all timed together.
We ended up taking a crash course in how to record the audio and get it applied to each slide with the proper timing. As usual #Microsoft doesn’t have straightforward menus and options. It has all been made very pretty to the eye and almost useless to operate without a lot of backwards thinking.
I’ve had to learn how to pronounce a whole bunch of new technical medical terminology and I now know way more about how dialysis works than I ever really wanted to know.

Annndd —— Now it is time for my obligatory yearly reminder that I retired on this day in 2003. (Fill in the blank) ______ years ago!
As I usually say, “I don’t miss the place one bit, but I do miss some of the people. But only some.”
