I mowed grass at the #TremontHouse most of yesterday afternoon while Tracey stayed home and did yard work around the trailer.

It was a beautiful day fitting for the last of summer. Temps in the upper 50s with lots of sun and a bit of breeze. With harvest well on the way and the days getting shorter it is easy to see the last of the summer heat is on the way out.

I asked Tracey to bring her microphone headset home for the weekend so I could work with using it on my desktop computer. I would like to get my computer set up to do any future PowerPoint narration. I feel so much more comfortable at my desk with my own computer rather than looking over her shoulder while she uses her laptop.

I messed with it for an hour or so yesterday morning and think I can easily record narration and also edit cuts and splices to be able to do the narration in shorter clips instead of trying to do all of it on each slide. One flub in a two minute narration meant I had to redo the entire slide and was time consuming. And frustrating.

Now that I am all set to go I suspect she won’t need my services for a while. I don’t think she liked having to set up the timing of voice narration with the slides. Or my constantly flubbing my lines.
