They plowed the park for the first time since weve been here. I can see a major accident in the future. The guy plows at a high speed down to the dead end and then races back in reverse to make another run. It is a pickup truck with a small plow so it took about a dozen runs before he got it finished. And not very good at that.
I should have gone to the post office yesterday but couldnt work up the ambition to go out and scrape the car windows. Tracey is working from home today so I will go today since her car is under the car port and wont need much cleaning up.
I ventured to the Morton post office where I discovered they are a technological backwater. Perhaps all federal buildings are. I used my watch to pay the postage. The clerk asked to see my card and when I told her there was no card she got all suspicious. I thought she was going to call the cops. Thats the whole point of electronic payment via watch, smart phone, etc. Why WOULD you have a card too?
Fortunately I did have a verifiable form of payment so she cancelled the charge and we used the magnetic strip technology of last century.
