I rarely listen to the radio but this morning I thought the threat of freezing rain might warrant listening for some news. Sounds like most of the schools are closed and the temps are dropping fast.
One thing I always forget about and quickly reminded of are the massive number of commercials. Mostly I keep a mental count of the places I will never ever shop at. I hate commercials.
I made a quick grocery run yesterday and also took advantage of the drive-up pickup at Fart & Fleem to get a bucket of rock salt. They got it right this time and I didn’t have to wait at all.
I tried to pry the lid off the plastic bucket after I got home and gave up after ripping the end of my thumbnail off. I will have to find a big screwdriver or something to pry that bugger off.

I just put on another pot of coffee. Tracey decided to work from home rather than risk the roads. It is snowing now.

Since they haven’t bothered to plow the roads for the past two weeks we now have a small lake out there where the road used to be. There is no place for the rain water to drain. Now it will freeze. Oh Joy.

My reply: “Good kids don’t usually emulate narcissistic, homophobic, Islamophobic, misogynistic, adulterous, child abusing liars.”
