Yesterday’s kitchen work wasn’t as nerve wracking. The plumbing is all finished with only one small drip left to fix. The stove top was installed but not the oven. The oven should be put in today. Everything should be done today if all goes well.

Tracey worked from home yesterday so she was here to straw boss. Her feminine wiles are much more effective at getting what she wants. And I am glad of that!

We are hoping for a home cooked meal either tomorrow or Saturday. We don’t have much food in the house or it would be sooner.

Tracey went to the DMV in Pekin to renew her driver’s license. She almost waited until the last day; she had to have it done by today as it is her birthday. She has to wait until they mail her the new one.

They now have two kinds of license. They had to upgrade to provide a “Real ID” to satisfy TSA. Tracey has a passport so she got the one that can get her on an airplane. The Duh-bya-Shamely terror legacy has gotten worse instead of better. I have to renew mine in July but I don’t know if I will get the premium license as I don’t fly anymore.
