We drove by the old gnarled tree by the intersection of Springfield and Allentown roads the other day. It has survived for many years with one lone branch that had green leaves. That branch was laying on the ground and the poor old tree stands naked. I fear it is the end.

Tracey and I agree that it is some kind of omen confirming our move. We used to see that tree every morning and evening on the way to and from work. We often commented on how it survived with that one lone living branch.

The last time we drove by the tree was entirely gone.
Not even a stump.
