Ben arrived at our motel at 6:30 a.m. to pick up Tracey and they headed to the Kenmore Air Seaplane Base on Lake Union in downtown Seattle.
Tracey texted me a couple photos of them getting on the seaplane. They really enjoyed the flight and the seaplane pilot, Fred, was very kind and informative. Tracey texted a couple photos to me.
The seaplane took them to San Juan island where they boarded a boat to take a whale watching tour. They saw seals and a mink whale but didnt get to see any orca.
I followed their day via emails from the credit card company telling me they had paid for parking, coffee, etc.
The only souvenir Tracey picked up was a small combination fork and spoon. (When our food was delivered the evening before the restaurant hadnt included plastic utensils and we had to improvise.)
After they left I went to the IHOP again for some breakfast and then spent the rest of the day being totally lazy in the motel. I read some, watched a couple old movies, and took a couple naps. Really helped to get the kinks out from all the driving.
They returned back late in the evening and Tracey had sunburned her face. We talked with Ben a little and said our goodbyes.
