I spent almost an hour on a chat with a technician from the #Blog site yesterday. I dont think he had one clue about their server problem. I explained I thought it was likely a bad hard drive on one of the parallel servers but it was completely over his head.
Late in the afternoon the errors became less frequent and I can only hope they had more complaints or a complaint from a more important client so they spent some time looking into it.
Or maybe the glitch is still there and I havent seen it yet this morning.

We had been having trouble with our DVR. It would not record some shows and others would be recorded but horribly pixelated and gaps in the audio. After a couple calls to #TelStarCable, our cable provider, they agreed to swap it out with a new one.
Due to the Covid they wouldnt come in the house so we unhooked the old one and left it on the porch and they came and exchanged them.
I think we should do this from now on. It worked much better than waiting all day for somebody to show up and come in the house to do it.
Now I have to go through and reprogram all the shows we watch.
