Yesterday morning Tracey donned a face mask and googles, crawled under the trailer and removed the water damaged vapor barrier and insulation from the area around the shower drain she had repaired a few weeks ago.
Later in the day we took a road trip to E. Peoria Lowes to get some new insulation, vapor barrier and a staple gun. Along the way we stopped to gas up the car. (1st time in months!)
It took her under two hours to get all the repairs done and that included the time it took to fix the jammed staple gun.
Tracey managed to cut herself and bleed on things. It seems one or the other of us (and sometimes both) has to make a blood sacrifice to our projects.
I suspect her hard work saved us hundreds of dollars. I was perfectly willing to hire somebody to crawl under there and do all that but she was determined to do it herself. Except for some help with tools and unjamming the staple gun I stayed out of her way.
