I watched the #Insurrection unfold on Twitter for a couple hours and then at 3 p.m. turned to watching it on the television.
I was actually surprised to see that the cops could get this under control without murder and mayhem, so it is clear they know how to do so, but I also saw a lot of cops just step aside and let the assholes in unobstructed. Some of the capitol police were actually taking selfies with the Twitler cult.
I admit I have very mixed feelings about this because I believe the jolt to reality was a good thing to make the old dinosaurs understand the real state of insanity currently. But seeing those Twitler and Confederate flags in the building was really disgusting.

I’ve been watching the news coverage all day. Listening to the arm chair quarterbacks lamenting how could this have happened. Etc.
And there are those lamenting the woman shot dead. #AshliBabbitt I have no sympathy for her. None.
In fact, had I been in charge, I would have pulled the armed officers back to within the Capitol doors and ordered them to shoot dead anybody who came through a door or window. There would have been dead and dying littering those areas until they ran out of ammunition.
I suspect, like in the instance where the one person was shot, the cowardly invaders would have run away from the gunfire.
Those that were not too fat and old to run in the first place.
So those who end up in prison for a few years are quite lucky they were NOT treated as any minority would have been.
