CATASTROPHE! #ComputerCrash
I rebooted my desktop just before bed last night and it coughed up a blue Recovery Repair screen. So far I’ve had no luck figuring out what is wrong and it is currently running CHKDSK. I did discover that my drive letters seem to have screwed up so I’m wondering if I have a boot sector error.

Fortunately I now have this little tablet but I would hate to lose my desktop work horse.

Well I’ve done about all I can do for the Blog for now with the tablet. It isn’t set up to do the cartoon sections, so those will have to wait. Besides, I’m getting groggy and should go back to bed for a bit before I screw something else up.

Couldn’t sleep very well. I think I repaired the boot partition and now get a blue screen telling me there are corrupted system files, so running chkdsk again. It just takes so long. I am trying to avoid a complete wipe and re-install, but that may be the outcome.

The saga continues with the busted desktop computer. I finally gave up trying to repair the OS and the machine is currently getting wiped and a backup image loaded. That will easily take the rest of this evening.

I expect there will be even less uploaded to this Blog tomorrow.

I did manage to upload the Twitter Roundup files for today. Had some trouble with the clip and save function on the this tablet. I am not so too good with the touchpad for editing.
