Last Friday I called to get a new insert for my Bi-PAP mask and I was told they needed to get my prescription renewed. I called again yesterday and they are still waiting. I sent a message thru the OSF portal asking the doctor to renew the prescription.

Here was the response:

Good Morning Michael,
I just took it off of the fax machine and placed it in Dr. Michel’s folder to be signed when he is back in the office on Monday 3/18/24. Please reach out if you have any further questions or concerns. Have a great day!

Fax machine?! We are ¼ of the way thru the 21st century and they are still using an effing fax machine and signing paper?
Perfect example of our antiquated system.
