On February 1, 1862, in the early days of the Civil War, the Atlantic Monthly published Julia Ward Howe’s “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” summing up the cause of freedom for which the United States troops would soon be fighting. “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord,” it began.
After all these years I still run across social media comments about how much better off we would be if Hillarity Rotten Clintoon had won. I used to hammer these idiots with the reality that we ended up with Twitler because she and the Dimocrat National Corp. rigged the primary to prevent Bernie from trouncing Twitler. SHE is to blame for Twitler!
