I will have plenty to say about the Supreme Court’s decision today in Callais v. Louisiana, but tonight I want to make sure that yesterday’s speeches by Twitler and King Charlie of the United Kingdom don’t get lost in the tidal wave of news. They presented a very clear picture of what is at stake in the United States today.

Tracey returned the rental car to Plainfield, IL, and came home with a new #Wheelchair lift installed in our van. We took a practice run and I was quite nervous about getting hoisted into and out of the van with the contraption. I survived, but it is going to take some getting used to.
