In 1898, Howard Walter Florey was born in Adelaide, Australia. He shared the Nobel Prize in 1945, with Sir Ernst Chain and Sir Alexander Fleming for the development of penicillin. Florey and Chain were central as they turned penicillin from Fleming’s discovery into a drug. #HowardFlorey #Penicillin #Nobel
