In 1977, South African black student leader and anti-apartheid activist Bantu Stephen “Steve” Biko, 30, died while in police custody, triggering an international outcry. Steve Biko was murdered by the Apartheid Security Police.
He was found naked and shackled on a hospital floor in Pretoria. #SteveBiko  |
