The Venus of Hohle Fels is displayed at the Prehistory Museum Blaubeuren, in Blaubeuren, Germany on May 12th, 2014. The ivory figurine is dated to around 40,000 years ago, and thus is considered the oldest example of human figurative prehistoric art. |
