Valeria Solesin’s coffin is carried in a gondola to her funeral in Venice’s Grand Canal, northern Italy, Tuesday. Solesin, a doctoral student from Venice killed during the extremists’ attack on the Bataclan theater in Paris, was at the Eagles of Death Metal concert with her Italian boyfriend and other friends when extremists began shooting into the crowd on Nov. 13th. Some 130 people died in the deadliest violence to strike France since World War Two. |
