Kona, Hawai • While athletes prepare to compete in the Ironman World Championship on Saturday, several hundred participants gathered in their boxers and briefs to compete in the annual “Underpants Run.” The one mile jog featured men and women wearing nothing but their running sneakers - and some inventive undergarments - as the event gives competitors an opportunity to shake out some nerves before race day. |
