A rescuer digs Cedric Genoud out of the snow on Sunday at an avalanche site in Evolene, Switzerland. Genoud was buried under the avalanche on Friday and was found alive 17 hours later by the rescue team, which noticed snow moving from a helicopter. Genoud managed to breathe under the snow by making a cavity with his hands around his face. |
