Following the March 11th, 2011, earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, tens of thousands of people lost their homes, and many are still living in temporary housing. Most former Namie residents hope to eventually go back to their homes, but they are allowed to return home for only a few hours to minimize radiation exposure. |
