Mummies wearing cowls are seen in the tomb of the Capuchin monastery in Brno, Czech Republic. In the Capuchin Crypt, monks and supporters of the religious order were buried until the end of the eighteenth century. Thanks to a special ventilation system and the composition of the rock, the bodies were mummified. |
