The Leaning Tower of Pisa is colored in green on March 16th, 2014 to celebrate Ireland’s national holiday on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day. The event is part of the initiative “Global Greening”, sponsored by Tourism Ireland, with many famous monuments in many cities of the world which are colored in green to show friendship towards the European island. |
