Galia Slayen created a six-foot-tall model of a Barbie doll to raise awareness of eating disorders. Slayen’s creation proportionally turned a Barbie doll into what she would look like if she were a real women. The doll stands six-foot-tall with a 39 inch bust, 18 inch waist and 33 inch hips. Slayen created the doll for the first National Eating Disorders Awareness week in 2007 while she was still in high school. She admitted to suffering from anorexia when she was a cheerleader at the school. |
