A capsule is prepared for Austrian Felix Baumgartner’s second manned test flight for the Red Bull Stratos in Roswell, NM. Baumgartner made his second stratospheric leap Wednesday, this time from more than 18 miles above the Earth — nearly three times higher than cruising jetliners. The mission, according to its web site, is to jump from a stratospheric balloon and break the speed of sound in free fall. |
