Philip Noe (and Kathi Viebrock) pmnbox@sbcglobal.net 07/26/2011

Where has the time gone! Kathi and I have been married 37+ years now and I will say she is still the sexiest girl I know! Our oldest daughter (Paula) got married in May and moved to Baltimore. Our youngest (Candice) has a 18 month old (Patrick) and is pregnant with twin girls (due end of October). Kathi and I still work for the Air Force with her planning on retiring in 4 years with my date yet to be determined. Hope to see a lot of familiar faces at the reunion.

I did't know of the reunion. I was playing on my computer and found lots of faces from the past. It was so good to catch up on everyone. My husband and I live in Culleoka, Tennessee between the two of us we have 7 children. We have also had 60 foster children. We live in the country. He is retired Navy and I am a stay home mom. I spend my spare time quilting or canning. We spend as much time outside as we can. We also have 5 grandchildren, 3 in Ten, 1 in C.C. Ill, 1 in Italy. One of my favorite sayings is (There is always room for one more). MY best to you all and I hope there will be another get together.

I moved to Tremont at the end of 7th grade, but I've alway been a bit partial to the Georgetown Tigers.  I have great memories of Mr Harmon and remember being bored out of my mind by Mr Bach (remember those hairy arms?)
I now live in Tremont again and work as a systems analyst for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington.  I take my kids to Marquette Heights occasionally and tell them a lot of stories.  What a great place to grow up in the 60's.

As many of you know, Kathi Viebrock and I were married 6 months after graduating from high school. We have two girls born in 1979 and 1982. Our oldest is a doctor (internal medicine) and the youngest works for the state of New Jersey doing livestock inspections for things like bird flu. I retired from the Air Force in 1996, and Kathi and I both have jobs at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls TX. We live outside a small town of 3,000 called Henrietta. As empty nesters, we now spend a lot of time traveling, especially on cruises. We've looked forward to seeing all our old friends as we have had reunions through the years. If in Texas, or doing the Hotter'n Hell 100 bicycle ride, drop by and see us!

Hi fellow classmates. I am Marlene Millsaps... soon to be Marlene Thompson in September. I live in Pekin and work at Pekin Insurance... 23 years. I have 2 daughters - Sarah 17 yrs old and Molly 15 yrs old. St. Joseph Catholic church is my family also. My life has been full of challenges similiar to my years in school. Diseases have continued to try to shadow my sunny days. I wish children had the understanding of differences that I am sure we all do now. I am a miracle in so many ways. I am in remission the 2nd time from a rare cancer (chrondrosarcoma) which is related to a childhood bone disease I have. I had 2 separate occurrences 12 years ago and 5 years ago. Soon I will celebrate my 50th birthday. In honor of my birthday I am donating and collecting money for future research in MHE so that my children will have benefits of research into stopping MHE. You can read up on this rare disease at http://www.mhecoalition.com/

Unfortunately, I will not be attending the reunion. Maybe the next indoor air conditioned reunion.... hint hint

I want to leave you all with this thought - Miracles do happen! Always expect a miracle. Miracles are not just in the Bible times. They are happening all the time. Everyday is a gift. God bless.

Marlene

Well, we won't be able to make it to the reunion (again) this year since careful planning has us on a trip to Africa at that time. My parents are coming with us, so you can check with them about how the trip went.

Connie and I have been married for almost 16 years and live in Northbrook, IL (maybe 15 miles north of Chicago). Alice, our oldest, just graduated from 8th grade (so I should be sure to save all her pictures and embarrass her 35 years from now). Unlike me, our son, George, wants to join in every sport he can. I go along for the ride and keep telling him that I just don't care if he wins or loses, just so long as he has fun. Eleanor, our youngest, is going into 2nd grade, so I'll still need to be profitably employed for a LONG time to come.

Have a great time at the reunion! I'll try to remember the date and drink a Tusker beer in your honor.

It is hard to believe another year has gone by! Our twins, Aaron & Ben, will be in the 8th grade next fall so our reunion has a bit of added meaning for me. Hard to believe I was once so young, naive and full of energy! Hope to see you at the Reunion! If you are reading this ... you are only a couple clicks and keystrokes away from sharing your comments on the guestbook too ... Please Do.

Sorry I couldn't come to the reunion - I had a piano-playing job up here in northern Michigan, where I perform under the name Dan Farrow. I look forward to seeing the pix and the DVD. I concluded my unusual career in St. Louis and moved to Boyne City, Michigan, a resort town, where I am pursuing a career as a realtor and starving artist.

Hello all!

My husband Ken and I live in Washington, Illinois. We have three children, A daughter Amy who is 30,and sons Steve, 23, and Tyler, 14. I work in special education K-3 at District 50 in Washington. I am very fortunate because I think working with children is one of the most rewarding jobs and I truly love what I do!

There are many memories from good old GJHS but one that makes me laugh(or cringe)is the wonderful ever so stylish blue bloomer bottomed gym uniform! Weren't those great! If you were lucky you got one of the old ones with the little skirt attached, those weren't bad but of course I had the kind that made a great fashion statement!

It will be great to see everyone. We probably won't need name tags because I am sure we all still look the same! I am looking forward to seeing all of you!

Hello all!

My wife, Claudia, and I have been married 24 years and have three sons. The oldest is a Marine and waiting to depart for Iraq; very nerve wracking. The middle child will be a senior at Bettendorf, IA HS and our youngest will start middle school. I am a band instructor at West High School in Davenport, a school very much like PCHS. I also perform in area orchestras as a bassoonist.

In 6th grade Mr. Button told me I could go far playing bassoon. He was right! See you at the reunion

Wow! 35 years--my, how time flies.

Well I don't have the same types of things to report as most of you. I have lived in several parts of the country working in the floral business. I currently live and work in Sarasota, Florida. Some of the other places I have lived are Vail, St. Louis, Denver, Orlando, and Palm Beach. I was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 1999, which is the same year I was named Illinois State Designer of the Year.

I hope to make it to the reunion, it will depend on the event schedule at work.

What a wonderful idea. Unfortunately I probably will not be able to join in the celebration. I have been living in Tucson AZ for the past 17 years. Almost 18 years. I have two children, a girl and a boy, 19 and 16 respectively. Six grandchildren from 2 step daughters also. I am currently (finally) going to college and next March I will have my bachelors degree in Business Management. I'm enjoying school so much I will probably go on to get a master's as well. It's never too late.

Hey Joan I remember the purple stuff. That was really funny!!!!!!!!!!!

I presently live in a small house in Morton (IL) with my wife of 20 years(Tahdra) and our two sons, ages 17 and 13. After switching jobs several times, I finally have 15 years service-time in at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research (the "Ag Lab") in Peoria. My favorite pastime (currently) is Geocaching, explained at geocaching.com.

Judy Simpson
Judy Little littlejudy31@yahoo.com 04/09/2004

Hi, I was Judy Simpson in school. I'm now Judy Little. (GJHS grad 1968). My mom, Mae Simpson was the lunch room monitor during 1968-1969. She currently babysits my granddaughter. I work at the Peoria Journal Star. I have a 23 year old daughter, and a granddaughter who will be 5 in June. I remember about everybody in the yearbooks (I still have mine too). My cousin is Terry Keedy, GJHS class of 1969. He is living in southern Illinois. I hope you have a good turn out for the reunion.

Charles Earley
Chuck Collins chuckc@wmbd.com 04/09/2004

I grew up as Charles Earley (GJHS class of '69) but I have an alias. I'm also Chuck Collins - Chief Meteorologist at WMBD-TV. It's a long story why I have an air name. I've been in Peoria area radio and tv for 27 years. I've been married that long to Linda Munsell (GJHS class of '71). We live in Peoria and have an 8 year old son, Ian. I recently heard about the reunion, then saw the article in the Peoria Journal Star. What a great idea! I appreciate the effort! I'm looking forward to it! Anything I can do to help, let me know. I was just thinking, Mrs. Calhoun was way ahead of her time. She publically posted messages long before the internet! If you were caught passing notes in her class, you know what I mean.

As many of you know, Kathi Viebrock and I have now been married for 30+ years. She seems to think her current hairstyle is very similar to 1969. Mine on the other hand went gray long ago, but at least it's still mine. We have two girls 22 and 24. The youngest graduates Texas A&M this year and is getting married and moving to New Jersey. The oldest is a third year medical student and as Kathi says, the smartest person we have ever known. Got to love them! Looking forward to this little get together. Everyone come and celebrate the great lives we all have had.

Hello All. Remember the afternoon when Mrs Calhoun chased Mr Skrine down the hallway? They were both soaked in disappearing purple ink they'd "shot" at each with water pistols. It was pretty funny.
