Phone Numbers

How many phone numbers do you have in your household? It used to be you might have two or three if you counted the work numbers of husband and wife.

Now, with the insanity of having to have a separate number for every cell phone, you can have way too many.

We have seven telephone numbers in our household counting Tracey’s work phone number. The one for the phone hooked to the wires in our house is used almost solely for the DSL connection to our computer and the occasional call from Mom who calls that number instead of my cell phone.

I hope someday we will convince our government to regulate this insanity better so we can simply have one number to reach however many phones we want it to. That probably won’t happen because it makes sense.

We have 5 phone numbers counting mine and Dave’s work numbers. I’m not very good with the cell phone. In fact, my dad called last night and asked why he couldn’t reach me on my cell and where did I put it. I honestly didn’t know when he asked. I dug to the bottom of my purse (I’m sure you have some comments about that subject) and low and behold -- 1 cell phone that somehow got turned off. OOPs! In other words, call me on the “land phone” if you want to talk to me. Andy has one for driving purposes, but he doesn’t use his either very often. I’m sure Ashley will have one too in a couple of years.
