Common Courtesy

I go to the sun room door and ask him what he is doing.

He says he is from DirecTV quality control and waves a digital camera at me. Says he HAS to take some pictures of the new dish on our roof that was installed last Monday. Says he “wasn’t sure anyone was home” —— as if that automatically gives him leave to trespass and snoop.

As you can imagine it pissed me off and I sent him on his way and I wasn’t too courteous. I don’t know what people are thinking when they feel they “have” to ignore the privacy rights of another to do their job. No announcement, didn’t even knock on the door or make an attempt to explain himself before the fact —— just pull in the drive and start walking around to the back of my house.

Makes me wish *Jake was still here. He would have scared the poo out of this dolt with his bark alone. Also makes me wish I could legally shoot idiots like this —— I’d just wing them. You know — Nothing more serious than another hole in the asshole’s butt.

*Jake is our family dog.
