Semantics and Word Games

I watch these guys a lot and had thought them more level headed and on point about current events so it is very disappointing to see them sucked into the nonsense blame games and semantic arguments instead of just getting down to the news.

Everybody wants somebody to do something about this latest batch of vicious killers in the mid-east and by somebody —— they mean us. Trading political insults over what we call it is a waste of time and proves nothing.

If we weren’t so dependent on the oil from the region we could simply tell the lunatics to drink their oil if they want and we could let them sort it out for themselves.

I, for one, have had just about enough of America sending our people to foreign lands to provide protection for rich dictators who refuse to protect themselves.

Better yet, lets give Shamely, McMaim, Rumshead and the other war monger chicken hawks a rifle and leave them over there. You can’t win wars with psychotic people who will blow themselves up for a cause. Quarantine them and let them blow each other up.

Take every soldier and diplomat out of the region. The only reason we are there is for the oil and they will eventually sell it to us anyway —— they can’t drink it. And in the long run it would probably be cheaper to pay two or three times as much for the oil than to spend a trillion dollars a year dropping bombs and burying our soldiers.
