In 1998, Repuglican elder statesman Barry Morris Goldwater died in Paradise Valley, AZ, at age 89. #BarryGoldwater To think this guy was once thought to be “far right”. He was far left of Korn Pop.

In 1964, as he accepted the Repuglican presidential nomination in San Francisco, Barry Morris Goldwater declared that “extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice” and that “moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue”. #BarryGoldwater Hillarity Clintoon was a “Goldwater Girl”.
