We got the booster without any ill effects (that we know of)
but we aren’t in the least convinced it works as advertised.
The number of “break through” cases are constant and growing.
Knowing Tracey’s Mom was completely vaxxed and died of Covid
anyway doesn’t help our view of the #Covid vaccine. |

You don’t know if the latest #Covid booster is free or if you have to get the shot “In Network”. You decide, just to be safe, to go to Wal-mart because it is the closest provider in your town.
You discover when you finally arrive to get your booster shot, after venturing into a maskless crowd of plague infested people and waiting patiently in line for an appointment you made online, that you forgot the card that is supposed to prove you are vaccinated.
You then realize the underpaid clerk at Wal-mart has been told that card is to prove if you are eligible for a booster, not that you are a conscientious citizen trying to keep everyone safe.
Instead of lying and saying you never had the first “booster” you show them a picture on your phone proving you had the first two shots and you are told that is not good enough.
You must comply with the policy.
You try to reason with this person that it doesn’t really matter how the shot is documented. There should be a way to work this out without having to return to the plague infested place a second time.
They don’t care if you die from Covid or the shot. In fact, they agree they are not liable if you die either way. Somebody, somewhere in our “Zero Tolerance” society has decided you must comply with the “Papers Please” approach of red tape and bureaucracy. Common sense be damned.
Go home, make an appointment, and make sure when you return that you do as you are “supposed” to do and comply. We will not give you a lifesaving inoculation without the proper papers. |
