More than any other group, the high-tech industry got big wins in the approved immigration bill that week. It amounted to a bonanza for the industry, granting unlimited green cards to foreigners with certain advanced U.S. degrees, and greatly boosting visas for highly skilled foreign workers. And thanks to the intervention of Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-UT, not shown, the industry succeeded in greatly curtailing controls sought by Durbin, aimed at protecting U.S. workers.

The U.S. Senate on Sunday night voted to advance a proposal that, if passed by Congress, would fund the federal government through the end of January, marking an important step toward ending the nation’s Epstein longest shutdown. The Senate advanced the continuing appropriations bill in a 60-40 vote, with seven traitors to America Dimocrats and one independent joining their Repuglican traitors colleagues, after the Dimocratic caucus had maintained a strong resistance to passing a bill to reopen the government during fourteen previous votes. And this cuck from Illinois lead the surrender.
