I saw the following about #EltonJohn’s 60th birthday bash and decided to share it. Every time I think of Elton I remember 35 years ago when his album Honky Château came out in 1972. I first heard the music and saw the album at a friend’s house and commented on how I liked the music. My friend’s older brother said his music was OK but that Elton was a “switch hitter”. I am sure I must have sounded like Forrest Gump when I said I didn’t know people in England played baseball. Duh!?
