When it comes to this whole hoopla about Bruce Jenner becoming Caitlyn Jenner I couldn’t care less. I am just so tired of hearing about it. I personally think a person’s sexual nature, #Gender, fantasies, whatever, are personal and private and shouldn’t be broadcast 24/7 ad nauseam.

Before Bruce / Caitlyn we had to endure the same media blitz for Bradley / Chelsea Manning. As well as a barrage of information about all combinations of transgender, gender assignment, gender reassignment, etc. etc. And I don’t for a minute think any of the media or social media outlets trumpeting this “news” care anything about the personal lives of these people either —— they are trying to sell a product and dishing on these folks is controversial, dramatic and sells product.

Whether it is a magazine, TV segment or any other crass commercial endeavor. I never got the feeling anyone was especially excited about Michael Jackson rearranging his face or sleeping with monkeys … it was just controversial.

I understand there are a lot of people who say and do hateful things to people with gender issues different from what we consider average or normal. I believe that is wrong. But I don’t see how bludgeoning people with it is helping anything. I believe people have a right to call themselves whatever they want to … people change their names for all manner of reasons and it is perfectly legal and acceptable. It just isn’t worthy of all the attention being foisted on the rest of us about it.

I see this much like those religious folks who come pounding on your door insisting they want to save your soul. They have every right to their religious beliefs but they aren’t that welcome on your doorstep at dinner time.

And my mind always wanders to the CSI scene where they find a DNA sample and analyze it. The chromosomes aren’t changed (yet) and the DNA results for Caitlyn and Chelsea will still say they are males. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day we could even alter ourselves at the genetic level —— but we aren’t there yet. There will always be people who want to be someone else. I just don’t care unless they are a close friend or family member and I don’t want to hear about it on every TV channel and social media site. Give it a rest. Please.

I can’t make up my mind if this is an example of a brave new world?

I’m not too invested in the subject, but I always thought a birth certificate was a legal document which certified the facts of your birth.

It makes no more sense to me to change the fact of your birth #Gender than to change the fact of what you weighed at birth.

Can I go back and change my birth weight to a skinnier baby?

This insanity has reached a new high. The teacher simply didn’t use the words “he or she” and still got fired. Some people, including myself, aren’t interested in this #Gender uprising where lives and careers are ruined because we don’t jump to attention about the latest fad social outrage. It is not enough to treat people politely now, you have to bend over backwards to acknowledge their minority status.

There’s a huge social media war being waged over trans women in scholastic sports. I, for one, am getting sick of it.

This is a very small minority of a small minority of people trying to victimize people for favoring science over emotion.

The vast majority of people have little or no concern about #Gender. Neither are they interested in funding trans rights in scholastic sports.

The majority don’t want a six foot tall, 200 1b. “girl” with a beard on the girl’s high school team.

Capitol Police arrested 15 people conducting a sit-in protest Thursday in a Cannon House Office Building bathroom to oppose rules requiring people to use bathrooms that correspond with their sex. It The protest occurred inside the women’s bathroom located nearest to the office of House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-LA. Johnson in November announced the ban on people using women’s bathrooms based on their gender identities while in the House portions of the Capitol Building and the House Office Building.

The Department of Health and Human Services has opened a civil rights investigation into the Minnesota Department of Education over a transgender teenager competing on a girls’ softball team. “The investigation will examine whether Minnesota engaged in discrimination on the basis of sex by allowing male athletes to compete on sports teams reserved for females,” the statement said. The team earlier this month won the 2025 State Tournament.
Presuming this person single handedly beat all those other teams?
