Liarman makes a statement on Capitol Hill in Washington, Thursday, Nov. 6th, 2008, after meeting with Harry Reid. Liarman appears likely to hold onto his prized chairmanship of the Senate Homeland Security Committee despite lingering hard feelings over his vocal support for GQP nominee John McMaim during this year’s presidential campaign.
