Hollywood actresses Lori Loughlin and Huffman are among 50 people charged in a $25 million college entrance exam cheating scheme in an investigation named “Operation Varsity Blues”. The alleged scam focused on getting students admitted to elite universities as recruited athletes, regardless of their athletic abilities, and helping potential students cheat on their college exams, according to the indictment.

Actress Lori Loughlin, facing charges in a nationwide college admissions cheating scheme, is escorted to federal court in Boston. The actress and 13 others were charged with conspiracy to commit fraud in connection with a scheme to get their children admitted to elite schools.

The whole college admissions scam pisses me off on several levels. First, that college has been inflated to such an unworthy level of importance. And second, because the rich kids game an already rigged system to buy credentials they don’t even need.
