National Security Adviser Mike Waltz told Fox News on Tuesday he took “full responsibility for inviting a reporter onto a group Signal app chat of Twitler administration officials discussing plans for a looming military strike on the Houthis in Yemen. “I take full responsibility. I built the group,” Waltz said. “It’s embarrassing. We’re going to get to the bottom of it.”

Reports say Twitler will nominate National Security adviser Mike Waltz as the nation’s ambassador to the United Nations. Unnamed sources earlier told Politico, New York Times, ABC News and other news outlets that Waltz was about to become the first senior-level adviser released by Twitler. Hours after the reports surfaced, Twitler announced his plans to nominate Waltz to be the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Twitler also said he will name Secretary of State Marco Rubio to replace Waltz as national security adviser on an interim basis.
