I have often ranted that I prefer science to some of the other explanations to what goes on in the world. But I despise #PseudoScience —— and I think this article is exactly that.

“Based on the number of dead bats observed at twenty-onelocations, Hayes conducted a statistical analysis to infer the probable number of bat deaths at wind energy facilities, correcting for their power capacities.”

Collecting dead bats for a few days in so few locations is definitely not the kind of “science” I want to base energy decisions on. These kinds of articles only debase the very accurate death counts and danger created by carbon based fuels around the world. Junk science doesn’t help anybody.

Wind turbines killed 600,000 bats in 2012

I made no online comment to this absurdity but I really
think this is a fine example of the ignorance of the
phrase “toxic masculinity”. From what I know most of the
mass shootings are about insecurity, rage and retribution.
I grow weary of the #PseudoScience of social media memes.

This nonsense still slays me. “Scientific terminology” was always used to place the so-called scholar above the common man. Much like the gibberish of the witch doctor. Much of what we now call #Science has been lost in this arcane effort to be aloof. #PseudoScience

#ArtificialIntelligence is nothing more or less than
plagiarism dressed up in #PseudoScience babble.
