The new vacuum robot was unboxed and named Rosie yesterday. After charging the battery, it set out to map the rooms and then cleaned the kitchen floor. Technology has come a long ways since the last Rosie we had.

We had #RosieRobot do a “Matrix Clean” of the family room and she did a great job. I have to say I am impressed with the level of technology to map a room so precisely and clean it in a grid pattern so efficiently.

#RosieRobot has turned out to be a timely acquisition now with cat hair to deal with. I think I’ve finally got the kitchen and family room well mapped and have learned the various functions. Does a very satisfactory job.

#RosieRobot stopped working properly last week. We spent a couple hours over the weekend trying to get her to remap the house, but she kept getting lost and couldn’t find her way home to the charging base. Ended up on the phone for OVER AN HOUR today proving to tech support that she was busted. They demanded we provide live video, TWICE, to two separate foreigners with bad English skills. Now we have to send everything back and wait for a replacement. Guess we should be glad they agreed she was busted.

Tracey took the busted #RosieRobot vacuum to FedEx shipping to be returned. Rosie’s replacement should ship as soon as they get this one back.

Finally got an email that #RosieRobot has been received and her replacement is going to ship soon. Hope this doesn’t take forever.
