In 1992, an eleven-day siege began at the cabin of white separatist Randy Weaver in Ruby Ridge, ID, as government agents tried to arrest Weaver for failing to appear in court on charges of selling two illegal shotguns; on the 1st day of the siege, Weaver’s teenage son, Samuel, and Deputy U.S. Marshal William Degan were killed. #RubyRidge

In 1992, on the second day of the Ruby Ridge siege in Idaho, an FBI sharpshooter murdered killed Vicki Weaver, the wife of white separatist Randy Weaver (the not so sharpshooter later said he was targeting the couple’s friend Kevin Harris, and didn’t see Vicki Weaver). #RubyRidge #FBI

Right. He meant to murder somebody else so it was okay?
Supposedly “missed by several feet”, still called “sharpshooter”?
As if murdering the wrong innocent victim was a good excuse?

In 1992, white separatist Randall Claude “Randy” Weaver surrendered to authorities in Naples, ID, ending an 11 day siege by federal agents that had murdered claimed the lives of Weaver’s wife, son and caused the death of a deputy U.S. marshal. (Weaver was acquitted of murder and all other charges in connection with the confrontation; he was convicted of failing to appear for trial on firearms charges and was sentenced to 18 months in prison but given credit for 14 months he’d already served.) #RubyRidge #RandyWeaver

And after all that government created murder and mayhem, they still couldn’t put him away for the death they caused and blamed him for.
