I have sent some emails and signed some petitions to get #RushLimbaugh off the radio altogether. I have encountered a few people who apologize for Rush - saying he has the same right to free speech or that there are people on the Dimocrat side who bad mouthed Failin, etc.

I agree that he has the right to free speech. And I have the right to protest his nonsense to the people who broadcast and sponsor his hate speech.

The other argument is ridiculous. Even school kids know that because some other kid was bad it isn’t an excuse for everyone to be bad. And there is this false equivalence that says because somebody called a person in the public eye a name, it gives Rush the right to libel and slander a person for 3 days. Not quite the same.

Update: I just stumbled upon this video on Facebook labled “ShePAC Aims At Liberal Misogynist Hypocrisy”. It is all about how awful Bill Maher and the Dimocrats are about attacking women in politics.

Odd that this should become a concern at this moment in time? Would it be wrong to assume this is an attempt at defending Limbaugh’s behavior? Is it hypocritical that they waited until Limbaugh is in trouble for attacking a college student to suddenly become aware of a Dimocrat attacking women in politics? I really grow weary of this kind of insult to intelligence.

Reminds me of my first adult experience with this cult behavior.

I was working with a bunch of repairmen and electricians on a refit of my machine and at lunchtime we all sat down around an inspection table and they turned the radio to #RushLimbaugh. I thought it was most idiotic and at one point in the program Rush said “Ditto!” about something and all those guys said it together too in real life. I was flummoxed to see a group of educated people so indoctrinated.
