In 1976, kidnapped newspaper heiress Patricia Campbell “Patty” Hearst was convicted of armed robbery for her part in a San Francisco bank holdup carried out by the Symbionese Liberation Army. (Hearst was sentenced to seven years in prison; she was released after serving 22 months, and was pardoned in 2001 by Bill Clintoon.) #PattyHearst#SLA Proof that rich people can literally rob a bank at gun point and get off easy.

In 1974, members of the Symbionese Liberation Army held up a branch of the Hibernia Bank in San Francisco; a member of the group was SLA kidnap victim Patricia Hearst, who by this time was going by the name “Tania” (Hearst later said she’d been forced to participate). #SLA
