We got a notice from #SiriusXM Radio yesterday about the renewal of the subscription for Tracey’s car. She decided she would like to downgrade the package and get a portable satellite radio for work that she could also bring to her home office when she works here.

The first call (after several phone menus and BS) was answered by a woman who talked 90 miles an hour with a horrible accent. Tracey soon gave up and disconnected the call.

She tried again hoping to get somebody she could understand. The next time through she got a young man with an accent and he wasn’t much better. She could almost understand him but he was clueless. She wants a true satellite radio, not a WiFi connection. Again she gave up in disgust after the guy clearly wasn’t up to the job.

Tracey plans to call again tomorrow hoping that maybe through the week they have Americans answering the phone.

Tracey’s new #SiriusXM radio arrived yesterday. We need to get a pair of stereo speakers to hook up to it and start her subscription. It is a bit pricey but Tracey loves her music.

Tracey likes her #SiriusXM music so much she has decided to set it up at work too. We ordered her a docking station and speakers for work and she will bring the radio back and forth depending on which office she is working from for the day.

Also got a renewal notice for #SiriusXM radio. I called them up and cancelled because Tracey doesn’t drive anymore so doesn’t listen to the radio. She used to spend hours on the road driving across the state.

It was quite a hassle getting them to cancel and I’m still not 100% sure I got it done. The girl was determined to sell me a cheaper package or another radio to listen at home, etc. I eventually had to get almost rude about simply repeating I wanted it cancelled.

I spent five minutes too long on the phone cancelling #SiriusXM.
And three years ago it took three phone calls to get rid of #DirecTV.
