I have a small lesion on the left side of my face that has been there for some time and just won’t heal up. I finally went to the doctor yesterday to have it cut off.

Of course, it can’t be that simple. I have to go back in a couple weeks to get a biopsy. Then later he will decide how much to cut off or whatever.

I told him to just get his knife and a stick for me to bite on but he wouldn’t do it. Everything has to be a big production anymore. Better to make more money I’m sure.

I also had to put up with getting my pulse, blood pressure, temperature and weight written down. None of that was necessary but will look good on the overpriced bill for them doing nothing yesterday.

Another trip to the doctor’s office yesterday. He took a chunk out of the lesion on the side of my head to send for a biopsy to see how much more he will have to carve off next week.

I tried to talk him into just removing the entire thing but he seems worried about having to cut too much and scar my handsome face.

I told him as long as he didn’t cut off something I need like my ear or something I could care less what it looked like. Oh Well. I tried. So I have a couple stitches. It doesn’t really hurt but it does itch like crazy.

I finally had the rest of the lesion removed from the left side of my face. He sure took a large chunk out of me so I should hope he got it all. I have to admit it feels as if somebody cut my face open —— I will be taking some Excedrin today I think. I didn’t sleep too bad but I did roll over on that side a couple times and didn’t stay there long.

I took Tracey to work, then to the grocery store and then to Bob’s for some breakfast. Two of the waitresses wanted to know what happened to my face —— I lectured them on the evils of #SkinCancer.

I think my face must be healing a little because it ITCHES like mad! I may have to get one of those plastic cones put around my head to keep from scratching?
