A lot of people ignorant of the real history behind the crap they teach and revere today are comparing Jobs to Edison. It is an apt comparison. Edison held a ton of patents too, 1093 to be exact. He actually worked on maybe 15-20 of them. The rest? He just claimed credit for. If you’re the CEO, you can do that. Doesn’t mean you’re a genius. Jobs is much the same. #SteveWozniak was the brains behind #SteveJobs just as #NikolaTesla was the scientific genius that made #ThomasEdison rich. Jobs is simply the death of a salesman.

#ThomasEdison and #SteveJobs were industrial marketers —— salesmen with very little technical expertise and no genius. They are nowhere in the league of Leonardo and Alexander. I’m really getting tired of this lame adulation for Jobs who helped the dumbing down of society. If we were to judge McDonald’s by the same criteria we should call it fine dining simply because they sold a trillion burgers. Crass capitalism does NOT make one a genius, an innovator or someone to be respected.
