 | Ward Churchill, who was a tenured professor of ethnic studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO, talks after a jury ruled on Thursday, April 2nd 2009, in Denver that the professor was wrongly fired by school administrators. Churchill maintained that he was dismissed in retaliation for his comments about victims of the September 11th 2001, attack on the United States. Churchill was awarded $1, the minimum they could award while still finding in his favor. |
